New from manchester, CT

Hey, just followed the link on TGO, My names nick, ive got an 84 camaro that ive had for awhile, originally a 2.8 v6/auto, but the motor went *pop* on me and it sat for the last two years in a storage unit. I've lost a job over my love for this car, (and a gf or two :wall: ) . Ive recently just gotten it back, and its going under a pretty extensive surgery. Over the next couple months Ill be swapping in an LS1/T56 combo, c5 brakes, cage, adding lightness, and going to be bringing it road racing, while keep it street legal. And for those of you local to manchester, you've probably seen me driving before the motor went, Its bright emergency orange with black rims. anyways, heres some pics before surgery, and one or two current, basically as it sits.

And yes, it was painted with spray-paint originally. this time around its going to get the tractor paint method... Im not going to spend a grand on paint when im planning on tracking the car.

Where were you months ago? I bought a complet set of 91-92 GFX just because I couldnt find a sport coupe front bumper anywhere.

Well if you want it now ill sell it cheap haha. Ive actually been wanting to get the 91-92 nose and gfx as i like the styling of them better, but i cant justify buying a new nose and body panels when theres the highly likely chance that at some point im going to overcook a corner at watkins glen and wind up in the tire wall.

If it wasnt for that i need to make room for my drivetrain donor id be keeping the parts car for the likely event of banging up my 84 and needing a fresh shell.
