It was one of the milder days during this past winter, and i pulled the cover off of my 92 RS, and took her for a ride to stretch her legs, and to give her a bath. When I came out of the other end of the car wash (Starbrite, in Coventry RI), there was someone waiting for me... He said that he saw me pulling into the wash, and turned around to see if I was already a member. He told me a little about NECF, events, forums, and access to a wealth of 82-92 parts. He gave me a card for this site, and said that I should join. I've always been a fan of 3rd gen Camaros, and I finally picked mine up near the end of August 2009. I was like a little kid on Christmas Eve after i negotiated the buy. I wanted to take her home immediately in the worst way, but I had to wait for the owner to remove his big stupid speaker box from the back. He was at work while I haggled with his mom at about 9am, his shift wasn't over till 5pm. I finally got the car home around 11, and I immediately got on the phone with Summit to order an Edelbrock Performer TBI intake manifold, Accell billet distributor and coil, red Taylor wires, and a bunch of other shiny stuff for under the hood. Although my 305 runs perfect, it is only temporary. It's not really that fast on the highway, but the 4.11s provide all the donut power I could ever want. Thank you Wolfdart42!!!!!!

Only a gearhead could look at a pile of plastic, steel, glass, rubber, & highly toxic chemicals, see the face of a forlorn & forgotten orphan on it, and then say:" Oh you poor thing!, I'll save you!, You'll be wicked easy to fix up... a few bits here, a touch up over there, a wash, some wax,.." 5K later, it barely runs, leaks something, & likely won't pass a safety/emissions inspection... - Brother Al

Hey guys, I'm back... 2 years later, and over double the horsepower! I sold my '92, and got a '86. This thing screams!! I am looking forward to actually meeting up with all of you. (Goddard Park, perhaps??) Thanks for the warm welcome. I was having a hard time navigating this site, but I think I got it now... Thanks to this Android, you will be seeing a lot more of me. I posted some pics of the new ride, and a video of me getting squirly, there will definately be more to come :D
