When I drive my 1983 Pontiac Trans Am D500 (KITT) it feels like I could fly, it's about respect, it's about looking in the mirror and knowing that you've done something valuable with your day.

I have to see if I can get the day off. Is the day confirmed so I can request it?

I also have two friends who might want to go. One is a co-worker with a 3rd gen and other one drives an SHO.

If anyone wants to set up a smaller cruise on the way, I will be heading the I-495 to I-90 route. I start around Mansfield (where 95 and 495 meet). If anyone else is taking this route, we can meet up and drive in together. It's a one hr drive to get there for me.
My friend will be driving from the Cape; I will try to meet him on the way too.

Not sure what I'll be cruising up in... my truck is done but really that isn't fun... and the Acadia can be fun, but really not what the Trailblazer was.

oo man, that sounds like fun!!

I just want to ask if anyone going to this event has a good gas tank or working instrument cluster for sale (82 TA)? Mine needs to be replaced. I might end up w after market gauges, Again, if anyone has any for sale; Please let me know.

Outside of a few parts. I got my car back from the mechanic. Several tune/timing issues were straightened out. My dist was tightened down w the wrong bolt, it was too long, and the dist would walk around at idle, caused a real rough idle and stall outs. I now have a new dist/plugs/wires, completely rebuilt carb, timing is set. And she runs better then ever! Alot more power and response when I hit it. Im really happy to have these issues taken care of for this foliage tour... about one month! :D

Last year we had a Monte SS.
Ive driven my '03 S10 Blazer and '07 Trailblazer as lead vehicles (both found new homes).
And in previous years we've had an old square body S10 , Wolf's Ford pickup ...and also his Chrysler 300 too IIRC. As Tail Gunner vehicles.

SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY. (almost time!) :yeah: :yeah:

I don't see rain in the forecast at this time. It looks like it will be about 60 degrees outside. Might not be perfect weather to drive with the ttops off, but at least it wont be raining.

I look forward to meeting you guys. I just got the Brake master cylinder done on my bird. Now the brake system is completely done on this car.

On again, of again. Call me a wild card!

Lindseys folks might go for once last sail for the long weekend. If they do, we don't have much reason to be down in RI if half the family is gone.

I know we are getting closer to the cruise date, and there was talk about getting smaller cruises set up on the way to our starting point. I am taking I-495 in to Auburn. PM me if you want to set up a meeting point, I was thinking of Mansfield as it is off of both I-95 and I-495. If no one in the area is taking this route, I will meet you guys at the 99 restaurant.

I spoke with my friends, Mr.82 Camaro thinks he blew a ring, so he cannot make it. Mr.80 Wagon is having issues firing the wagon (plus he will be seeing Nitro Circus Live) so he cannot make it either.

Looking good for me!
Car may be filthy since it'll have to be out in the rain on Friday, but it'll do.

Me and Rob are coming down with the Firebird and SHO tomorrow. If everyone is open to it, I have a few more "non F-body" friends who would be interested to join

Also Al, I'm bringing my factory intake with me.
