Cardinals vs. Steelers

Postby AC » Mon Jan 19, 2009 9:16 am

This is to piggy back off Manifoldsrme 's original thread. His idea is to have an NECF gathering Hooters in Manchester, CT for the superbowl on Sunday, February 1st. Both him and I would be there an hour or so before the kickoff to grab tables. Please post here if you know you will make it or think you want to.

I will be there 2 hours before kickoff to make sure there is even a chance we can do this. If it is full already I will call Adam and we can go from there. I really have no idea how busy it will be, but it is the superbowl. I want to get a "few" beers down beforehand as well! :pint:

TMZ. Boooooo, all because Brewski and Cassel aren't playing you're not going to watch??? :lmao: Sorry to hear you probably won't make it. I'll personally tell Tabitha you said hi and that football called and agreed with baseball, she's dumb. If you would, get together with manifoldsrme and see if the daytona 500 is something worthwhile and doable for a meet. We should give the RI and E.MA guys a break though and see if that would be doable closer to their neck of the woods.

I am definitely going to watch the game. I might come up, who knows. I wanted to stay local so I can get home at a reasonable hour for Monday morning.

I'm 100% in for this event if we're still doing it.
3:30pm, sure thing!
Where is the Hooters?
I can't think of where it is in relation to the JC Penny's Warehouse vs the B.H. Mall. Is it near the strip mall in between the two?

If you come from 91S to go to the buckland hills mall you'll end up going past the mall, down the hill, through the big intersection and straight ahead. Google map it if you can, its VERY simple. I'll be leaving my place around 3'sh to go and should be there by 3:30.

:chin: You need GPS because you my friend, are directionally challenged. LOL

Al, it's across from that strip mall.

Basically 91S to 291 into Manchester. Get off on the Tolland Turpike exit. Hang a left off the exit. At the traffic light bang a left INTO the JCP warehouse area, stay in the right lane.
Take a right at the stop sign.
Watch for speed bumps.
Straight through next stop sign.
(This is all just the "road" that goes around the JCP parking lot)
Right at next stop sign. Back out to the main street..... hang a right, and Hooters is RIGHT there.
