I'm looking for a good machine shop hopefully somewhere close to RI. Just looking to have some heads milled.

Talk to tom86iroc here. He deals with Cisco's in RI and they know their sh*t. Tom recommended me to a guy in RI and after talkign to him was almost a sure to build my last motor if it wasn't for the distance (2 hrs from me).

B & B Cylinder Head Inc.320 Washington St Fl 2
West Warwick, RI 02893
(401) 828-4900

I've never had them do work for me - but they have a pretty good rep with the local gear heads.

Tom / Dan, thanks. It was Reid's I talked with. Sounded / talked like a very knowledgable guy and pricing was good. I didn't use him because of distance. BUT, if I could have I would have. :wtg:

I know this isn't near RI but I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to throw it on there.

they are in east hartford, reasonably priced and come highly recommended by a friend of mine who runs NASCAR modifieds.

What does the dot on the pressure plate have to be matched to - The stock replacement fw i got had no "X" to be matched to, and it had to be matched to the heavy spot - 4 OZ

dalena auto parts in new britain is run by my extended family and does all the machine work for TA race engines, who builds a good number of the front runner engines at stafford. TA just marks up the price and passes it on to the racers. ;)
