sorry I havnt been on in a while...

But I really appreciate the EBL. It is a great system, and although expensive, once you buy it you will realize how much work Bob R really put into the whole system. I am sure the money he makes off selling these does not cover the time he has invested into this system, so it must be his passion for GM performance that keeps him going.

Unfortunately I have not seen the anticipated gain in fuel milage. howewer, I also dont drive the car everyday and rarely to work, so when I drive it I sometimes cant resist opening the throttle a little more.

Other than that, I was able to greatly improve the running condition of the car. There is a decent learning curve. If you have used tunerpro to edit bins before, you will already be ahead of the game... Its not like this on all cars, but on my car I was able to put the ecm in plug and play...

I have discovered that the 2 things holding me back in the top end are the small injectors, and the stock fuel pump. I was having a little trouble getting the VE learns right, and decided to buy the Actron TBI guage. All the calculations in the stock tune are done for 13psi at the injectors. I had to adjust my stock FPR significantly to get to that point. But even at 13 PSI with a good tune, my Injectors go static (100% duty cycle) at just over 4000 RPM.

One way to fix this issue is bigger injectors, but those are expensive. Another option was to get a tighter spring for the FPR and bump the pressure some more. I decided to do an experiment, with the car idling and the FP guage hooked up, I took vise grips and dead-headed the return line. The FP immediately jumped to 19psi. OK, then I free revved the motor. It dropped to 15 at the most load. So I am guessing that my stock pump is just barely supporting the 13psi under hard accelleration.

I guess maybe at some point I could upgrade to the TPI fuel pump, and bigger injectors. This combo would fuel me no problem up to 6k rpm if I wanted. Then I will just need to get some headers and maybe some intake mods to really see a nice increase at WOT.
